Life On Purpose

A year and a half ago, I was experiencing burnout. I didn't know how to let go of responsibilities with work. I was driven, but I felt like I was just spinning out. I was almost numb to the call of God on my life, not knowing how to even pursue it any longer. I had reached this place as a result of my own doing, yet a glimmer of hope came from outside of myself.

I was invited into a community of people who wanted to live their lives on purpose. I was invited into the process of forming a habit of living each day with purpose. And for me, a year and a half ago, it was the right step to take. I have been a dreamer since high school and college. I would dream about what amazing things I would do with my life and the experiences I would encounter. I would dream about businesses I would start and run. I would dream about the family I would raise. I would dream about my own fame. Now, 20 years after some of those dreams, I am thankful some of them didn't even come close to coming true. Yet there are other dreams that never saw life because of one thing: no action! I could dream up amazing things! Yet I never took any action towards them. I thought they would just happen because I had the dream! WRONG!!!

It was time to change that. Though I was burnt out, I still had dreams. Though I was feeling lost, I still had vision. I just needed help getting started in the right direction. The community I was invited into was the Oola Community. They had created an app that helped me prioritize my big goals, AND it helped me decide what simple action steps I needed to take every single day to get closer to those goals. Of course, I haven't been perfect in this journey. I haven't experienced or realized all of my goals so far. But I have taken action. Lots of action. At this point, I have taken 1,583 action steps on purpose! Some were big steps. Some were little steps. Some were steps of creating a habit I was wanting or needing. In these next 4 days, I will complete a Fitness goal I had called December Chills. My goal was to get into my ice barrel every day this month. With the stupid cold temps we have had this week, I took a cold shower instead one day, and I made an ice bath in my bath tub another day.

Here's the point: If you need a process to help you take action, I invite you to try out the same thing I have. I also invite you to kicking off 2023 with 75 days of purpose. We are calling it 75 Hard-ish. 75 Days of Hard-ish is a group of us who are choosing to start off the year with intention. Here's the thing: it's up to you what it looks like. Some of us have done 75 Hard, and others of us have modified it. We don't care what you do. We do want you to decide ahead of time what it will look like, and then give us permission to hold you accountable. The categories for you to be intentional with are these:

  • what you eat

  • how you move your body

  • what you drink

  • how much you will read

I'll share mine if you're interested. Just ask!

Here's the breakdown: If you're looking for that process, that system, to help you take action toward your goals, it's the Oola Lifestyle Framework.

If you're wanting to start 2023 with 75 days of purpose, hop in here. (This is free! No strings attached. If you want some ideas of something to follow, we do have some ideas you could pay for, but they are not required!)

LIVE WITH INTENTION!
